Empties - December 2012

I'm doing December empties post early because I wanted to get rid of the empty containers before Christmas. Not much but anyways:
- Ziaja Coconut Hand Cream - I love everything coconut and this hand cream was no exception!
- Beautymint Essential Cleanser with Aloe - I've had high expectations. It is a good cleanser but it's unscented and it doesn't foam much... and I like my face cleansers scented and foaming. It does cleanse well though so if you're looking for an unscented one it is very good.
- Cien nail polish remover - I've used up a lot of those, like it a lot and will re-purchase!
- Ziaja Ulga face cream for sensitive skin - I loved it, it worked very well with my dry, sensitive skin and it was a perfect product to use under makeup! I might repurchase when I use up my other creams... lol
- Rimmel Match Perfection cream gel foundation in #100 True Ivory - I really liked it, it blended well and the color was perfect for my skin tone.
- Clinique High Impact Mascara - very good mascara, but didn't give a dramatic effect and I love big lashes :) It was nice to try!
- Marionnaud Pore Refiner Toning Lotion - I got it on sale, didn't expect much from it but it turned out to be a very nice product, if I ever find it on sale again I will repurchase :)

Nails Inc. - Elizabeth Street / OPI - Servin' Up Sparkle

I can't get enough of pink polishes! This pretty is a Christmas gift from my friend Cheryl and it's so so so lovely! I couldn't wait to use it. It's called Elizabeth Street, pictured are 3 coats. I spiced it up with OPI - Servin' Up Sparkle, also from Cheryl - thanks so much girl, they're amazing! xo

Butter London - LA Moss / Christmas Pudding Nails

I wanted a Christmassy design for the holidays and I ended up with Christmas Pudding nails. To create this design I used a beautiful brown polish by Butter London I got from Cheryl (3 coats), a white polish by Sally Hansen and Jade by NYX Girls for the leaves and a red nail art gem. And of course a dotting tool =)

Reindeer nails

Christmas is coming so I was inspired to work on some nail design for the season! I ended up with reindeer nails, so cute! I used:
- Sally Hansen Crinoline as base
- OPI San Tan-tonio for the reindeer head
- Essence Spicy for the antlers
- Essence black polish for nose and eyes
- Sally Hansen Simply White for eyes
- China Glaze Phat Santa for Rudolph's nose

I'm very happy with the end result, they're cute!

Anny - #115 Waiting For You

I've been wanting to try Anny nail polishes ever since I first saw their stand - so many beautiful colors! I finally gave in since I've had a coupon code to Marrionaud - got this baby for just 10pln! =D The color reminds me of beetroot so deep and gorgeous! The application was flawless and I mean it: FLAW-LESS! I'm so impressed! Not 1 bubble, no smudges, no brush strokes - nothing! It's so good!
It is darker than in the pictures, deeper. Really gorgeous. Too bad they're so good as I'm gonna want more now!

The pictures were taken after a couple of days from application.

Empties: November 2012

Not bad this month I'd say! Slowly going through my stash... here we go!

I mentioned most of these in my previous posts, all faves of mine. The Gliss Kur shampoos are very good, used up this one and loved it, I'm now using the red one for colour treated hair - they smell so good!

Bath & Body Works antibacterial liquid soap in White Citrus - I am officially in love and addicted to Bath & Body Works! This soap was amazing, it lasted over a month (!), smells so good! Love love love it! I am now using another soap from B&BW in Fresh Market Apple - divine stuff!

Olay Total Effects Face Wash - I really like this line from Olay, every product is so good (the ones I tried at least!) so this was no exception. I would buy it again but I like to try out new products and I have some new face washes to try already.

Oriflame Milk & Honey Hand and Body Cream - one of my favorite scents, it does a great job moisturising the skin. Also perfect for hands! Really recommend it.

Oriflame Silk & Cashmere Body Cream - lightweight and smells so delicate. Very good product!

Benefit They're Real mascara - I've had a love/hate relationship with this mascara, they were days when it worked perfectly and I was amazed with the results but there were also days when it made my lashes clumpy and stuck together blah! I don't know, I don't think I will repurchase it, it's too expensive for a mascara.

Collistar mascara - I wanted a blue mascara and it was perfect, great result and you could really see the blue color! I couldn't part with it even though I used it much longer than I was supposed to... I'm gonna miss this! It was expensive as well but worth the money.

IsaDora Eyeshadow Fix - the best eye primer I've used so far, I don't think I've tried anything that would be as good! Once I use the primers I use now I'm going back to that!

Oriflame lipstick in Nude Love - great color and it moisturized my lips like no other! I'm so sad it's gone, I think it's my first lipstick that I've used to the very end!

Essie - Bangle Jangle

Yet another Essie - Bangle Jangle is a greyish violet colour, very pretty! Pictured are 2 coats and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat. The glitter is Glorious Aquarius by Essence =)

Essie - Over The Edge

This is one of 2 new Essies I purchased recently: Over The Edge is a charcoal with shimmer - so pretty! I love it. I used an accent on my ring finger - crown sticker from Cheryl =D 2 coats + top coat.

Models Own - Champagne + IsaDora - Black Tag

This is what I'm wearing on my nails at the moment: 2 coats of Models Own in Champagne - so sparkly! And a black crackle/shatter from IsaDora called Black Tag. Love it to be honest, I haven't worn a crackle in a very long time so it's nice! =)

Empties: October 2012

October wasn't a very succesful month when it comes to empties (again) but I'm gonna try to do better in November! I managed to finish some nail products though!

Avon Senses Mystique Shower Gel - smells so nice but doesn't moisturize the skin as much as I would like. I have another bottle but I won't be using it now, gotta change things up!

Olay Total Effects Serum - very good product, I love this line in general, my fave product being the eye cream!

Avon Naturals Body Whip in Vanilla - very lightweight and smells amazing, I love the smell of vanilla in body products! I would buy it again but I banned myself from buying body butters/lotions as I have too many to use!

Essence 10 in 1 Miracle Nails - no miracle here! Too slippery for base coat, would work good as conditioner if you didn't put anything over it I guess. I wasn't a fan of this as top coat either.

Seche Vite Top Coat - one of my all time faves, I will repurchase it for sure!

Golden Rose Calcium Milk Conditioner - I used it as a base coat and it worked well :) Good quality product for reasonable price.

Avon Nail Experts Base Coat - one of the better base coats I've tried so far, I love this stuff!

Lip Smacker Coca Cola - funny little lip smacker, nice but now I have my vaseline jars which are amazinggggg!

Giorgio Armani Regenessence - sample size which came in the Douglas Box of Beauty. Only got 2 uses out of it so not much to tell... although my skin felt very soft and hydrated afterwords. I applied it in the evening.

Rimmel London - Metal Rush - 80 Purple Reign

Oh what a beauty! Found it in my monthly box from Cheryl - so so pretty! It's a metalic purple, the picture doesn't do it justice. Pictured are 3 coats + Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat.
I have so many new polishes to try and 4 days off now - yay! =D

Favorite lip products!

I am obsessed with lip products: glosses, balms - you name it. These 2 lovelies came from Cheryl - I've been in love with them ever since I got the Creme Brulee a few months ago, it's just so good! Makes my lips feel moisturized and shiny! Pink Bubbly is the new addition, and it's just as good! I recommend these if you can get them where you live - perfection :) Thank you Cheryl <3

Sally Hansen - Crinoline

Fell in love with this color the minute I saw it - so subtle yet opaque and it just looks like porcelain on your nails! I got it at an online store for a bargain (1/3 of the regular drugstore price!) - amazing! Really recommend getting this :)

Empties: September 2012

Not really proud of myself, haven't used up many products in September... Anyway I was able to finish:

- Oriflame Pure Nature Organic Citrus & Eyebright Refreshing Face Wash - I go through face washing products pretty fast and I love trying out new stuff, this one was ok, nothing too special but it did good with removing makeup;

- Avon Naturals Body Renewing Raspberry Body Lotion - love the scent, really fruity and good moisturiser, I will try more scents when I'm finished with my body lotions/balms stack ha!

- Cien Nail Polish Remover - does the job well, I prefer removers with acetone because they work faster and better with glitter polishes, I've already got 2 backups of this!

- L'Oreal Youth Code - it does make the skin smooth to the touch, absorbs quickly and works under regular moisturiser and foundation. Rather expensive though and I didn't notice much improvement to my skin's condition :( But I liked using it;

- Essence Black Mania mascara - Essence has some great mascaras and cheap too! This one was a bonus with another Essence purchase and it was great, very black and stayed on well. I'd buy it again but I think they don't make this one anymore - they have new ones though which I love too;

- Oriflame Foot Rescue Mask for Dry and Tired Feet - smells of eucalyptus I think, rather thick but works so well! I'd buy it again :)

- Bourjois Make Up Remover Wipes - my faves! I will get more, it's just a matter of time, love this stuff!

Sally Hansen - Wine Not

It's gotta be my favorite shade for Autumn - Sally Hansen Wine Not is so deep and beautiful, I keep staring at my nails ever since I put it on! Found this beauty in my September box from Cheryl - thank you, it's perfect!! =)

Hauls

Since it's the weekend again and I always shop on weekends... here we go! :)

I'm in search of a skincare product (combo) to help improve my skin which is dry and I get a lot of redness so I decided to give Avene a shot. I got the gentle purifying scrub and rich skin recovery cream. Tried both today and so far they seem pretty good, especially the cream. My skin feels hydrated and it worked great under my foundation.
The products were both 20% off which was a great deal! My local shopping mall is celebrating their 10th birthday so they had a ton of deals this weekend :)

I also got the Revlon Colorstay foundation for normal/dry skin in the shade 150 Buff. I've been wanting to try it for so long and it was also 20% off so I decided to buy it. Even though the last thing I need is another foundation... now I gotta stop buying new ones and use the ones I already have or they will be wasted :(

Last week I also found out that Bath & Body Works opened 2 stores in Warsaw on Thursday! So I knew I had to visit since I've been dying to get/smell some of their candles! I love scented candles. I can't get enough of them.
So when I saw they had the deal buy 1 get 1 free I knew I had to buy some! Even though these are not cheap but I got 2 for the price of 1 so it's not that bad...

I got the Warm Vanilla Sugar one (the big one) and also Orange Ginger one (also the big one).

They smell divine! I was kind of disappointed with the selection though as they didn't have too many to choose from but they just opened so it should get better in time! I'm so excited!

I also got a hand soap in White Citrus and 2 antibacterial gel sanitizers in Warm Vanilla Sugar and Midnight Pomegranate.

I will not go there often since it's not that close to where I live but I will go occasionally,  I'm sure! :)

One more thing I got: a pumpkin candle holder =D

OPI - My Very First Knockwurst (Germany Collection)

I could not resist, I love nude/pale shades and this one is so perfect with a hint of pink! Opaque in 2 coats, I just love it. Now looking for that perfect burgundy shade - suggestions?

I also got my very first Douglas Box Of Beauty today and love it! Check out the contents below. I believe you can still order it if you would like.

Puzzle nails

I wanted to try this design ever since I saw it on youtube. It was late when I started which wasn't the best idea since I was rushing through it. I did it on 1 nail and still I like the result. I used tape and a dotting tool.

Nail polishes used:
Essie - Mesmerized (blue)
Essie - Pansy (pink)
Essie - Lady Godiva (brown)
OPI - Mermaid's Tears (green)

Golden Rose Classics Metallic #17

I really like this rose gold shade! Pictured are 2 coats & Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat. It could be less yellow but I still like it! =)

Essie - Mesmerized

Such a gorgeous, deep color! Pictured are 2 coats + Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat. Love it so much!

My new Essies!

These were a bargain! I couldn't help but pick up 8 new Essie polishes for my stash ;) I love them so much. Clockwise starting with the green one:

- Essie - Navigate Her
- Essie - Mesmerize
- Essie - Status Symbol
- Essie - Bangle Jangle
- Essie - Pansy
- Essie - Spaghetti Strap
- Essie - To Buy Or Not To Buy
- Essie - Muchi, Muchi

Essie - Muchi, Muchi

Empties - August 2012

As you can see I am faithful to some products: Bourjois Micellar Cleansing Water and Nivea Dry Comfort Deodorant haha!
I've also used up L'Oreal Elseve Nutri-Gloss Light Shampoo which I really like and it was my bottle number 5 I believe. The Ziaja Maziajki body wash smells of vanilla ice cream with cookies, so divine but it is not moisturising enough for my dry skin so I had to put a lot of lotion on after shower.
What I also loved is the Oriflame Giordani Gold makeup base, so nice!
Inglot nail polish remover is very good as well, doesn't dry cuticles at all because it has oil in it. I've also used up Oriflame matte control pressed powder which I loved (already have another one!) and Oriflame Pure Nature Night Cream which has a very strong smell but it didn't bother me much.
The Clinique toner wasn't my fave, it took me ages to finish it and I won't be repurchasing :(
Oh and I've also used up a fragrance called Enigma by Oriflame as well, liked it a lot!

The Essence My Skin Pomegranate & Bamboo Caring Cleansing Wipes were cheap and ok but the scent is too strong and they were not soak enough for me so I won't be buying these again.

My Essie Polishes

I love posts like this so I thought why not make one myself. So here is my little collection of Essie nail polishes. I love Essie! There is barely any sun today so photos are not the best but anyway - here they are!
